What can make a public place more appealing? I think different readers may have different understanding about it. In my opinion, restaurant and culture are the important facts that can make a public place more appealing.

The most appealing public place in my country is Xinhai Park, and it is famous for its restaurants. Dalian is famous for its seafood, as well as Xinhai Park. There are a lot of seafood restaurants in Xinhai Park, people like eating different kinds of seafood in this restaurant, such like oyster, lobster and shrimp. They like eating seafood without cooking; what is more, they’d like to eat them with mustard, they are delicious and popular. It is a special place that has a lot of restaurants just support seafood without cooking. A lot of people from different place are attractive by its seafood restaurants and come there to have a taste. In conclusion, Xinhai Park is famous for its restaurants and this special characteristic really make Xinhai Park more appealing than other public place; it will be useful if other public place can have their own special restaurants.

Another reason that makes Xinhai Park more appealing is because of its culture. Xinhai Park was built by Dalian government in 1959. Additionally, there is a magnificent book statue in the center of the park, and there are 2000 footprints in that book, which means that there were 1000 martyrs took part in Dalian Independent War, and helped our citizens won this war. In my own judgment, this is a great culture which will always tell our next generation how difficult to get a better life in our modern society; so that our generation will cherish their lives and make their own efforts to develop our country, our world. To sum up, if a public place has some cultures like Xinhai Park, it will be more appealing for tourists.

In summary, Xinhai Park is an appealing place because of special restaurants and attractive culture. However, Xinhai Park has a big problem as well; there hardly has enough parking place for tourists. In my perspective, Xinhai Park should provide more space for tourists to park their vehicle, and it will be getting more and more appealing.

Do you think philanthropist and societies of giving play a important role in our lives?

Hi everybody, this week I have no idea about the blog's topic, so that I searched a question on the internet and wrote something to answer this question. I hope you all will like it :)

As society becomes more and more advanced and complicated, philanthropists and societies of giving play a larger role in the life of individual members of the society and development of the society itself. Most people who are poor or in trouble, they need someone or some organizations to support their comfortable lives. Philanthropists and societies will give a lot of benefits to the people who need help and make them have new lives.

Philanthropists’ donations are very important to poor people. Yao Ming is one of the most popular basketball players in the NBA. He set up a charity, which is named “Fundraiser Yao”, and donated more than 2 million dollars when the Sichuan Earthquake happened. Another famous person, who is one of the best philanthropists, is Donald Trump who is one of the richest businessmen in the world. He donated 1 billion dollars to the Red Cross when he was 65. These kinds of philanthropists gave lots of favors to the poor people to help them get a better life.

In addition, the society plays a important role and responsibility to help people who need its help as well. Societies set up the charity such as The Red Cross, The Homeless shelters, The Union of Concerned Scientists and so on. They usually collect a lot of money, and use the money to help people with disabilities. They also use the money to support the children who don’t have enough money to go to school. On the other hand, society also set up a charity which is named the World Wildlife Fund to protect wildlife from decreasing population. Society makes a lot of contribution to the whole world. It is a powerful force.

In summary, philanthropists donate to the society, and the society sets up a lot of charities to help people who are in trouble. Both the philanthropists and society give a lot of benefits to the whole world to help people to build a better life.

My Favorite Sport Tae Kwon DO

      The old saying life lies in  movement means that the  sports are very important  in our individual life. Not a healthy body can be had without sports, just like no one can live without air.      In reality, I like a lot of sports such as basketball, American football, Ping-Pong, soccer and Tae Kwon DO. (Haha, yeah, I am a super-fan in sport.) However, I prefer Tae Kwon Do among  so many sports, because Tae Kwon Do has its won charming characteristics that attractive me so much.      A retired veteran founded Tae Kwon Do in the north of Korea in 1955. It syncretizes a lot of Art of fighting all over the world and, mostly, it uses the foot to attack someone or something. As distinct from other sports, Tae Kwon Do is famous for its spirit; politeness, patient, and perseverance.      Now, I’d like to tell something about my Tae Kwon Do experience. I have studied Tae Kwon Do when I was 6 years old. I practice to kick the gear and some kicking pad everyday to make sure that I still remember how to kick. What is more I need to go to the gym to train my legs’ muscle one hour a day to make sure that I can kick some powerful in the Tae Kwon Do competition.  I still remember that the first time that I attended my city’s Tae Kwon DO competition, before attending this competition I had a very hard training with my coach for a whole month, he taught me how to kick someone to get the point easily and how to use some kicking skill to win the game. What is more, for having a low weight and have a fast speed, I have to be moderate in eating and drinking. That was really a difficult period for me at that time. However, after this difficult time I won the champion in Dalian Tae Kwon Do Competition, I felt so exited.      Tae Kwon Do is really a great sport that will teach you have to be more patient and how to do much better in perseverance. I like this sport so much.

My Home Town, Dalian

          Hello everyone, my English name is Chris Song, and my Chinese name is Haoyang Song. Yeah, I come from China, and my hometown is Dalian. Now, I'd like to talk something about my hometown, Dalian.           
          Dalian is a seaside city, which is located in the northeast in China, in Liaoning province. Dalian is famous for its tourism because there are a lot of attractive places in Dalian. What is more, because Dalian is a seaside city, so that you can taste different kinds of seafood in my hometown. Last but not least, people, who are living in Dalian, are friendly, helpful, and positive.           
          Dalian is famous for its tourism. There are so many tourist spots in Dalian, which attractive millions of tourists all over the world. Dalian Tiger Beach Polar Aquarium is one of the most famous tourist spots in Dalian; in this polar aquarium, we can see a lot of marine animal like whales, sharks, dolphins and so on. We can also see polar bears and different kinds of penguins in it. What is more, they have dolphin show thrice a day; DO NOT miss them it you have a chance to visit this polar aquarium. Bangchui Island is a famous attractive place in my hometown, as well. There are a lot of virgin forest surround this island, and every year a lot of people, who are interest in diving, come to Bangchui Island because of its lucid seawater.            
         Dalian is a seaside city which is famous for its seafood. In Dalian, you can taste a lot of fresh seafood like shrimps, lobsters, crabs, oysters, different kinds of fish, and so on. I understand that you guys should have already had the experiences that ever taste these kinds of seafood the United States. However, I guarantee that you never had one seafood which name is sea hedgehog. Sea hedgehog is a kind of seafood that has a lot of protein in it, actually, it is good for our health. I like eating sea hedgehog especially dig wasabi and without cooking. It is really so delicious and awesome.            
          People in Dalian are friendly and helpful. There are millions of tourists in Dalian every year. Sometimes, they may get some problems in different aspects, however, no matter where you are and what kind of problem you are getting with, you will get hands and solve all these problems with people in Dalian.            This is my hometown, Dalian. I hope all of you guys will like this beautiful seaside city and have a chance to be there.
